What do you mean video tape my home?

I will come to your uncompleted home, before drywall begins, and video tape all aspects of your home.

Things I will video tape:
- Walls, doors, electrical wires, gas lines.
- phone lines, coax lines, everything.

  

.: Why video tape?

Videotaping your home before drywall goes up, will provide a visual record of all aspects of your home.

For instance, you want to put a door going into your study from the hall. With a video tape you can see if there is any wiring, gas lines, ect going through your planned opening.

Another reason would be if you wanted to get a home theater installed, or just some speakers installed. With the video tape you can see where you can and can not run wires or place speakers.

.: What will I get when I purchase a video tape?

You will receive a DVD translation of the tape. If you need VHS, special time will be needed. I can also provide raw Mpeg3 video for you to download or burn to disc so you can make your own DVD.

.: What information is needed for video tape.

  1. I will need to know the address of your home. If no address is available on Google Maps, then turn by turn directions are needed.
  2. Date your drywall is going up, I will need to video tape just before that date. When you see drywall delivered in front of your home, it will be going up the next day.
  3. Anything special you may need me to pay special attention to. For Example: Master Bedroom for future light fixtures.
