Building webpages has been something that I have worked with back when the internet was in its infant stages. When you had to connect with a dial-up modem at 2400 bits per second (DSL starts at 256000 bits per second 128 times faster)

I have a great background utilizing standard HTML coding along with PHP server based coding. I can also use Javascripting. I also know how to access your domain host and server to setup any scripts needed.

Getting a domain name ie: www.yoursite.com is the first part of getting you a site or page on the internet.
There are places that you can sign up for a sub domain like: yoursitename.mydomain.com

The drawback of using a sub domain is that if the original domain owner desides to stop serving your site, you are no longer at that address. It is like getting kicked out of your home without warning.

Now that you have a domain name, you need a place to host or store that name so that others can view your site. Hosting provides the webpage to be stored on the internet so that others can see it.
